Hot or not? 
We’ve all heard the phrase “in the eye of the beholder” or some would say “in the eye of the beer holder”…
One of my co-workers love all things ‘fitness’, so much so that she subscribes to international issues of various gym and fitness magz, now there’s nothing wrong with that… but she seems to have an obsession with female fitness figures. So much so that she spends most of her free time in the gym - aspiring to look like one of the said cover models.
I know what you’re thinking… everyone loves to be toned, but have a look at this image and tell me if you think this is the epitome of hotness…
Personally I don’t like it – not at all; in fact if you had to cover the models head, her body looks even more masculine than that of your average Joe’s. Okay so my personal opinion aside… what do you think?

I would aspire to abs like that - except the boyfriend likes to have a little something to hold on to …
Lean and mean is all good and well, but the female form is by nature ever so softly rounded.

It’s definitely taking the idea of “toned” a little far … but then again, if that’s what she’s aiming for, then kudos to her for having the self-discipline and motivation to get to that point. But for me it does look way too masculine. I’m a little unnerved there.

Michelle: I’ve seen girls with nice defined abs… but unlike the fitness modes in question they still look feminine.
Logan: I agree with you that self discipline should be applauded – but sometimes not to the detriment of your overall health. Gym is good – but over doing it is definitely not.

o.k. lets think about this, the lady on the cover is a FITNESS MODEL. She is supposed to look like that. I bet if she gained a few pounds she would have nice curves.

As a male i think toned, somewhat muscular women like that are incredibly hot. Not bodybuilder status but the pictured woman is right on the border. Personally i think she is sexy.

I am glad you all have taken the time to comment on my picture. While that picture is now some years old, I must say that this is not my look 365 days of the year, but I stay pretty much close to this condition with a few extra pounds because I do like to eat! Summarily the saying “to each his own” comes to mind, when I hear both positive and negative comments about mine and other fitness athletes physiques. What may be good to some may not be good to others. I have an overwhelming number of men and women who love my shape while other feel i need more curves. I find that the ones who make the most amount of negative noise are those who, for what ever reason, don’t have a physique worth worth getting rid of a few clothes for. But the fact of the matter is whether I am lean and fit or soft and thick, I love myself and everything about me. For those who can appreciate it, cool thanks for the support. And for those who don’t like also cool, thank you for the motivation.

This girl is wicked sexy. I think girls that want to be toned and muscular are sexy. Also, any girl that flexes for boys is sexy. Obviously some bodybuilding women take it a little far but this girl is amazingly sexy. Six packs look great on chicks.

This picture is VERY hot (I think). I think that looking fit like this is very sexy and women are at their hottest right at the point of the model in this picture (as fit as possible without looking at all masculine). Also, as a graphic designer who has touched up hundreds of models’ photos like this one, ’some’ of the intense muscular definition here is from digital enhancements (which is perfect for a magazine cover)… I bet that some of you guys saying this is “too much” would think she looks perfect in real life.
(All Tech-Speak aside… She is Smokin’ Hott either way!!!) !!!! !!! !! !

Hey I like it, my girlfriend is thin yet very toned. She has an amazing six pack. Personally I think having muscle lines greatly improves the overall look of a womans body. Woman are designed to be soft and squish-able in certain areas, its great when the rest of them is solid!

I think she is hot and sexy. I love it when a girl has a really tone body. Very Hot! Although I would prefer her arms to be a little smaller, but still very tone.
